The Collaborative to End Human Trafficking supports community-wide
engagement that strengthens a culture of prevention and shared responsibility.
Which means that every individual can take action.
We believe that everyone can and should help in the fight against human trafficking. If you want to be an advocate for your neighbors, act as a go-to resource in your community, and set a strong example of how individuals can stand against this injustice: you should consider becoming a Collaborative community ambassador.
Here are some ways our community ambassadors support us:
Representing us at local events
Speak to our mission and organization at networking or other special events in your community. Host a human trafficking education session for your club, church, PTA, or workplace.
Empower community outreach
Help us run tables at events and connect with individuals and communities through conversation and resource sharing.
Post on social media
We make it easy for ambassadors to quickly share credible information with followers; we’ll create images for you to share or hashtags you can use to prompt engagement.
Write blog posts
Create short form articles for us that help spread accurate information about the realities of human trafficking, as well as vital tips on how others can get involved.
Become a research / resource provider
Are you more of a behind the scenes person? Help us stay on top of resources and research in the ever-growing and changing field of human trafficking.
Fundraise
Start a fundraiser to support the mission of the Collaborative and other anti-human trafficking efforts in Northeastern Ohio. We can help you find the strategies that work best for you.
